The design process was definitely one of the more frustrating parts of the placement. There were days where I would spend hours working on a design, thinking I’d absolutely smashed it, only to get feedback and have to change almost everything.
At the time, it felt a bit painful because all that work seemed to go nowhere. But I quickly realised that’s just how design works. Clients have their own vision, and sometimes it takes multiple attempts before everyone is happy with the final outcome. This taught me not to get too attached to my first ideas and to be more open to feedback. In the future, I think this will help me stay professional when working with clients and make me a stronger designer overall.
